I recently ran a paid Facebook ad–free Facebook does not work well for selling–to add more clients to my portfolio.
A Jeffreys Bay local saw the ad on a Saturday and sent me a message asking for more details. Initially he was interested in setting up five websites.
I phoned him and we arranged to meet on the Monday.
In the meantime, I tried thinking of ways to reduce the number of websites he required, so as to help him save money.
At the meeting I laid out my proposal, but it soon became clear that he needed more time to settle on a route forward.
A few days later he phoned again, and we met for another coffee.
That’s when he explained his needs.
With a clear picture of what the client required I headed home, set up the his domain name and built his website.
And so was born the online presence for Healthy Bites Africa.
They export organic, no-added-sugar, sulphur-free air dried fruit to Europe.
